Celtic Magic Thoroughbreds proudly offers partnership opportunities with our stunning 2022 NY Bred colt, Dancing Bear. Bear’s sire is New York’s leading turf sire and graded stakes winning stallion, War Dancer. War Dancer is a son of the National Sire of Sires, War Front.
Bear’s dam is Off The Bourbon, a winner herself and whose dam was half to grade 1 winners, Cape Blanco and Mr. Obrien. Her sire is 2 time horse of the year and sire sensation, Curlin. As a sire, Curlin lead the nation in 2022 with grade 1 winners such as Nest, Maalathat, Clairiere, Elite Power, Obligatory and Cody’s Wish. Curlin also set the bar as a sire with 3 winners in one day at Breeders Cup 2022 and 2023!
Bear is a half to our successful 3 year old filly, My Kinda Mischief and our handsome Bolt d’Oro yearling colt, Hudson.
Bear is a natural born leader and when out with his herd, must be first for everything. That natural leadership, coupled with his breeding, mind, conformation, size and soundness, is a strong foundation for this colt. He is a registered NY Bred, Breeders Cup Nominated, NY Futurity Nominated and eligible for the New York Stakes Stallion Series. He is offered through our partnership for a limited time at a buy in of $6,000 per 10 percent share.
He is currently in training with Greg Martin at the Oakridge Training Center near Ocala Florida and thereafter, will begin his racing career with Carlos Martin, based at Belmont Park in New York.
