Off the Bourbon, a winner herself, has had 3 foals and is in foal for a 2024 foal by 2x Breeders Cup winner and multiple Graded Stakes winner, Golden Pal. Bourbon is by two time horse of the year, Curlin, an equally prolific and famous sire, who currently stands for a 2024 stud fee of $250,000. Her dam, Laurel Lassie is a producer and is a half to Grade 1 winners, Cape Blanco and Mr. O’Brien. Bourbon’s maternal grand dam is Laurel Delight, Ireland’s 2010 broodmare of the year and dam of Grade 1 Winners Cape Blanco and Mr. O’Brien. Bourbon also is from the blue hen female line of Foudroyer, dam of other black type winners.
In 2021, Bourbon had a gorgeous bay filly by Maximus Mischief , the fastest 2 year old son of Into Mischief. Max, currently the leading 2023 freshman by number of winners, is by the famous stallion, Into Mischief, the sire of the 2020 Kentucky Derby winner, Authentic, and who currently is the US Champion General Sire and stands for a 2024 stud fee of $250,000. Bourbon’s first filly is named My Kinda Mischief and we are absolutely thrilled with her! She placed second in her debut race at Saratoga and we cannot wait to see what she can do as a 3 year old!

In 2022, Bourbon had an big dark bay colt by Graded Stakes winning stallion, War Dancer, the leading NY turf sire and one of the top turf sires in the northeast. War Dancer is the son of the legendary national sire, War Front, and stands for a a 2024 stud fee of $100,000. Bourbon’s second foal is named Dancing Bear and he is a big gorgeous colt, now in training in Florida. We believe he will be racing at Saratoga summer of 2024. In 2023, Bourbon had beautiful brown-bay colt by the multiple Graded Stakes Winning Stallion, and Sire Sensation, Bolt d’Oro, who has dominated the 2 year old racing season with winners, including this years juvenile filly sensation Tamara. On April 4, 2024, Bourbon had a gorgeous chestnut filly by Golden Pal. Golden Pal is a Multiple Graded Stakes Winning and 2x Breeders cup Winning son of Uncle Mo. The partners of this filly are very excited for what lies a head for her!
Bourbon is booked back to Maximus Mischief, sire of her first foal, My Kinda Mischief, for a 2025 foal. This will be one heck of a foal!
