Haldane joined the CMT Broodmare herd in the fall of 2021. Haldane is a Stakes placed mare, who earned over $208k in her racing days, racing from 2012 to 2014, including wins at Saratoga, Aqueduct and Belmont!
Haldane hails from a regal family. Her sire is the Multiple Graded Stakes Placed Stallion, and New York Bred Champion, Raffie’s Majesty, who along with Coronados Quest and Victory Gallup, made for one of the most exciting Travers Stakes races ever! Raffie’s Majesty is also known for being a prolific and leading NY Sire.
Haldane’s Dam, Treasure Always, never raced, but she is a Multiple Graded Stakes Winning Producer and is by Multiple Graded Stakes Winning Stallion, and half brother to AP Indy, Summer Squall.

In March of 2022, Haldane was bred to Graded Stakes Placed and multiple Stakes Wining Stallion, and son of Uncle Mo, King for a Day. Haldane produced a gorgeous bay colt on February 5, 2023. The Kansas City Chiefs had just won the Superbowl and we started calling our colt Mahomie. He has since been registered with the JC as Mo Mahomie and CMT plans to race him and has formed a racing partnership for this colt.

Mo Mahomie
On January 16, 2024, Haldane had a huge bay colt by Multiple Grade 1 Winning Stallion, Mind Control. Mind Control raced 29 times, from 2018 to 2022. He had 11 wins, 3 seconds and 2 thirds. All of his wins except his first win in a maiden special weight race, were in stakes races. He won Graded Stakes races every year he ran, winning races such as the G1 Hopeful (2018), G1 Allen Jerkins Stakes (2019), G3 Tom Fool, (2020), G2 Neurod Stakes (2021) and G1 Cigar Mile (2022).
There is so much potential for this fancy colt and CMT cannot wait to see what his future brings!!
Haldane will be bred back to Mind Control for a 2025 foal.
