Off the Bourbon, a winner herself, has had two foals and is in foal for a 2023 foal by Bolt D’oro. Bourbon is by two time horse of the year, Curlin, an equally prolific and famous sire, who currently stands for a 2022 stud fee of $175,000. Her maternal grand dam is Laurel Delight, Ireland’s 2010 broodmare of the year and dam of grade 1 winners Cape Blanco and Mr. O’Brien. Bourbon also is from the blue hen female line of Foudroyer, dam of other black type winners.
In 2021, Bourbon had a gorgeous bay filly by Maximus Mischief , the fastest 2 year old son of Into Mischief. We call this filly “Gracie,” and she is registered with the Jockey Club as “My Kinda Mischief.
